ABOUT

I'm a Wichita-based production technician and lighting designer with a passion for transforming everyday spaces into immersive, story-driven environments.

I launched OnTrackLighting, while in high school, as both a lighting company and DJ service designing and programming lighting for private events, and all of Newton High School's musicals and plays. Outside of school, I gained early hands-on experience working local concerts and events.

I continued sharpening my craft at Johnson County Community College, earning an Associate of Arts degree with a focus on lighting design. While there, I designed and programmed multiple shows in the Black Box Theatre and became the first student to ever design and program a show in the college's main Polsky Theatre. Following my graduation, I expanded my work across the United States, traveling for concerts and corporate shows. Skill development included fluency in professional software and hardware systems - including Resolume Arena, NovaLCT, SmartLCT, Chamsys MagicQ, Vectorworks, and reading CAD drawings and lighting plots.

In 2020, I joined Douglas Production Group as a Lighting Designer. My role quickly grew to include project management, lead video wall technician, and assisting in audio system functions for major events. These events required a large team approach from set up to tear down.

With every production, no matter the size, my goal has always been the same. The goal to create an environment that people feel completely immersed in a moment through thoughtful, dynamic design and operation.
